❅It's Beginning to Smell A Lot Like Christmas❅

What does Christmas mean to you?

Anyone who knows me will know how much I love Christmas! It’s a magical time of year that just feels so special. When I was younger growing up it was such an exciting time – plays at school, baking, parties, visiting Santa, my brother and I trying to find the gifts our parents (sorry Santa!) had got us and then on the big day, it was about being with family, eating too much (the only day of the year that it was acceptable to eat chocolate for breakfast!), playing party games and dancing.

Now as a 40 something women I take great pleasure in all of the above but for my family and friends. It is a time of year to reflect and to be grateful for all the good people and good times in your life.

Scent evokes memories and Christmas for me conjures up the smells of baking, Christmas trees, oranges (my parents always put a mandarin orange at the bottom of our stockings), standing round a fire pit with friends hugging a cup of mulled wine for warmth. So, I thought I would share with you my top 5 Christmas scents. What’s yours?
